About World Mission Church

World Mission Church Malawi - 2026 is a new church plant project aided by the home church which was founded in 2019. The home church can be found at worldmissions.world

World Mission Church is a non-denominational evangelical Christian assembly which serves only one purpose which is to build the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. The formal legal structure is that of a private, unincorporated ecclesiastical trust. It is private and not a public entity of any sort being that the theme of the church is to 'Come Out of Babylon' and we live by our beliefs.

The elders council of World Mission Church is thrilled to collaborate with James and Mary and the team to support their zeal for sharing the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ. Below are the profiles of the team leaders for WMC Malawi. We applaud their efforts and commitment!

Our statement of beliefs is found in our Creed / Covenant. Click here

James Zgambo

Position: Ambassador & Lead Missionary / National Coordinator

Department: Bible Teaching, Church Planting & Outreach

I was born and raised in Northern Malawi, in a humble family that taught me hard work, respect for elders, and love for community. From childhood, I grew up seeing struggles of village life - poverty, no schools, no roads, families walking miles for water, and many children without hope. Our family valued land, working with hands, sharing what little we had with neighbors, and living together as community.

I grew up in a religious background, but I did not truly know Jesus as personal Savior. I was searching.

HOW I CAME TO CHRIST:

In 2007, through a village crusade in my area, I heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ - that man is sinful (Romans 3:23), wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but God so loved the world (John 3:16). That night, I responded to altar call and received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. My life was completely changed.

After salvation, I had hunger for Word of God. I felt strong calling to take Gospel to villages where roads end - where no NGO goes, where pastors have no Bible school. Since 2014, God has led me to serve as Village Missionary through Village Missionary Movement.

My values:

- To live by every Word of God

- To live simple, sustainable life in ecclesia - farming, sharing, community

- To be faithful in small things - mango tree churches, house to house

- To train others (2 Timothy 2:2)
